Reflective Chevrons and Safety Markings
Here at Sneddon Signs we are highly experienced in the manufacture and installation of 999 specification battenburg and chapter 8 chevron markings for highway maintenance, escort and service vehicles. We can custom design and install safety markings to suit each individual vehicle (such as vehicles with custom utility bodies) or we can manufacture a kit from our extensive library and fit this to your vehicle. Reflective markings like these can be installed at our premises in Paisley, or in some cases we can come to your workshop, reducing your downtime and taking the hassle away from dropping your vehicle off and arranging alternative transport for the day. By using only home-office approved prismatic materials, you can rest in the knowledge that you will gain the maximum safety benefit from chevrons from Sneddon Signs, as well as ensuring full compliance with all legislation.
We can also supply and fit conspicuity lining (con tape) as required on all HGV's first used after 10 July 2011. We are well versed in the regulations and can advise on the requirements and products available for different types of vehicle.

Chapter 8 regulations require side marking, door edge marking and flashing lights. As well as chevrons we can install full side marking kits and door edge markers, and we also work closely with qualified auto-electrical installers who can supply and install beacons, strobe lights, cameras and more to meet all relevant guidance. Emergency Vehicle Graphics
In addition to chevron markings we are experts in the design and production of emergency vehicle retro-reflective battenburg liveries. Whether hand templated for a one-off specialist vehicle or a full digitised design for large fleet renewals, we work closely with converters and end users to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and guidance. By holding templates on file, we can easily and quickly manufacture and dispatch replacement graphics following accident damage.
Our previous customers have included police, fire, ambulance, private ambulance, airfield fire tenders, film prop suppliers, recovery contractors and traffic management companies. With such a wide array of previous customers, we can type-match and repair battenburg liveries after accident damage and repairs, working in conjunction with approved repairers.
Magnetic and Temporary Solutions
As with any of our vehicle graphics, reflective safety markings can be supplied in a range of temporary and removable formats including magnetic and specialist removable vinyl, meaning you can have graphics manufactured for hire or courtesy vehicles which you can remove and re-use at a later date. This can be a great cost-saver, especially if your business has seasonal peaks when you have to hire additional vehicles to meet demand.

Bespoke Reflective Labeling Solutions
A wide range of label and stickers are available with full reflective features. All types of labels and stickers can be manufactured, from printed ID labels to helmet stickers for improve safety of roadside workers.
Fleet Livery Installation
We offer a sub-contract fitting service to a number of national fleet livery suppliers to carry out installation on their behalf. This service is available both at our workshop or as a mobile fitting service for all types of chevrons and emergency vehicle livery. As Oralite certified installers, you can be sure of our attention to detail, quality and efficiency.
Works are usually carried out at our workshop in Paisley, however in certain cases we can install your livery at your site or workshop, providing you have a suitable indoor space. We offer this service across Paisley, Glasgow and further afield. Risk assessments and method statements are available where required.
